    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is taking its show on the road on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at The Wilde Resort and Spa for “Wilde Wednesdays” — an outdoor under-the-stars movie experience with “Movies on the Move”.

    “Eric Clapton: Live at the Royal Albert Hall” will be screened in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa.

    Celebrating his 70th birthday and his 200th show at London’s famous Royal Albert Hall, Eric Clapton performs his hits in this concert from 2015 — fifty years after his first performance there with The Yardbirds. Clapton’s 7-night run at the venue was acclaimed by the critics and adored by the fans. The setlist blended vintage blues tracks and Eric Clapton classics from across his astonishing career.

    Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from Chef Mercer Mohr and his modern diner restaurant, Rascal. If your sweet tooth catches you, enjoy S’mores around one of the four firepits. The festival’s mobile concession stand will have movie treats available.

    The Wilde Resort and Spa is also offering local “Stay-cation” getaway packages with special room rates that include a room overlooking the garden and film, tickets to see the film, welcome amenities (red wine and a smores kit) and waived resort fee, plus early check-in and late check-out. Mention booking code “D-WWED” when making the reservation.

    “Eric Clapton: Live at the Royal Albert Hall” will be shown outdoors at The Wilde Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona) on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs. Parking is free and available at The Wilde Resort and Spa.

    Tickets are only $7 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
