    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “What We Do Next” showing March 17-23 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

    A New York City politician climbing the political ladder is forced to navigate her complicated past with a young woman recently released from prison and a corporate attorney with whom she shares an equally complicated history.

    When Elsa Mercado (Michelle Veintimilla) is released from prison after serving 16 years for killing her father, New York City Councilwoman Sandy James (Karen Pittman) and corporate attorney Paul Jenkins (Corey Stoll) are forced to grapple with their involvement in the original crime.

    “What We Do Next” is a timely emotional thriller sitting at the intersection of race, class and criminal justice.

    “What We Do Next” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre March 17-23. Showtimes will be 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Thursday, March 17, 18 and 23; and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, March 19 and 20.
