Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona encore of “The Wrecking Crew” showing Feb. 10-15 at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres.

This special encore of the award-winning music documentary “The Wrecking Crew” by Denny Tedesco is just in time before the Sedona International Film Festival which will feature the premiere of Tedesco’s follow-up documentary “Immediate Family”. Music lovers won’t want to miss either film!

What the Funk Brothers did for Motown, The Wrecking Crew did — only bigger — for the West Coast Sound. Six years in a row in the 1960’s and early 1970’s, the Grammy for “Record of the Year” went to Wrecking Crew recordings. And now, “The Wrecking Crew” tells the story in pictures and that oh, so glorious sound. The favorite songs of a generation are all here, presented by the people who made them for you.

It didn’t matter if it was Nat “King” Cole, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, The Monkees, The Byrds or The Beach Boys, these dedicated musicians brought the flair and musicianship that made the American “west coast sound” a dominant cultural force around the world.

The film is a fun and moving tribute from Denny to his father and to the music, the times and to the secret star-making machine known only as “The Wrecking Crew”.

“The Wrecking Crew” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres Feb. 10-15. Showtimes will be 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10 and 11; 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14; and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
