    Save the date for next VVCC Masquerade Fundraiser

    logo_verdevalleycaregiversSedona AZ (August 27, 2015) – Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition is gearing up for its Fourth Annual Art. Wine. Dine. on the Rocks Masquerade-themed fundraiser on Thursday, Oct., 22, 2015 in the Canyon Ballroom at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock, 90 Ridge Trail Dr.

    The public is invited to attend this exciting event to help raise funds for older adults in need. Proceeds will help VVCC provide services such as transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other services that allow older adults to continue to live independently in their own homes.

    20150827_MasqueradeGuestsThe Masquerade will begin with a wine reception and entertainment on the patio, an elegant dinner, and songs from Stage and Opera performed by Northern Arizona University Classical singers. VVCC encourages all guests to come dressed to impress in Venetian-style costumes to compete in contests for Best Mask, Best Costume, and Best Couple Costume. Cost is $100 per person. Invite your friends and neighbors to share a table for 10.

    Live and silent auctions will be held, featuring pieces from renowned Verde Valley artists. The live auction includes bronze pieces from Susan Kliewer, John Soderberg, Michael Trcic. The silent auction will feature pieces from Carol Gandolfo, Shey Khandro, Betty Carr, Lisa Danielle, Adele Earnshaw, and more.

    “We invite the public and all the guests who attended last year to please come and celebrate the fall season “Venetian” style, and help us raise $65,000 for older adults in need,” said Linda Clark, development manager. “The live auction this year promises more variety of artwork and will include food and travel packages. The Classical singers will also give great performances.”

    The public can also purchase raffle tickets for a 7-Night Cruise for Two to Alaska, the Caribbean, Mexico, or Canada/New England. Raffle tickets are only $10 each, three for $25, or a booklet of 12 tickets for $100. The drawing will be done during the event. You do not need to be present to win.     VVCC wishes to thank its event sponsors so far: The Law Offices of Esser, Bradley & Gardner, Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation, Paul and De Anna Lehnen, Arizona Lottery, and Vintages Grille with support from the Village of Oak Creek Association Benefit Foundation.

    VVCC is in its 23rd year of service to nearly 2,400 older adults throughout the Verde Valley who need assistance to live independently in their homes. VVCC volunteers provide transportation to medical and other appointments, grocery shopping, hospital to home assistance, installation of medical alert units, as well as business assistance, handy person assistance, respite assistance, pet assistance, and more.
