    SAVCO to host 16th annual charity golfing event

    Sedona News – SAVCO will be hosting its 16th annual charity golfing event on Saturday, September 23rd 2023, at the Oakcreek Country Club (OCC), 690 Bell Rock Blvd. Sedona, AZ 86351. This fun scramble event will include straightest drive, closest to the pin and putting contests as well as team awards, a $10,000 prize for a hole in one and a FIRST “First Responder” Head-to-Head competition with Sedona Police vs. Sedona Fire foursomes squaring off for Top First Responder bragging rights.

    20230801 OC1011 10aProceeds from this event enable SAVCO to continue its patriotic missions of running the Sedona Toys for Tots program, conducting the annual Memorial Day Ceremony, manning the 89 Flags on 89A & uptown project providing scholarships to Sedona High School graduates, aiding veterans via our Veterans Assistance Fund, and supporting local organizations such as Meals on Wheels, the Boy Scouts, and the Civil Air Patrol.

    Fees are $85 for OCC members and $150 for non-OCC members. A buffet lunch will be provided along with a roving beverage cart. Numerous valuable and intriguing silent auction items will be on display at the silent auction.

    Not a golfer? You can still support SAVCOs missions stopping by OCC and bid on the many exciting silent auction items between 7:30 am and noon on 9/23 or you can become a hole sponsor for only $75.
