ONE FOR THE VERDE is all about our local businesses, non-profits and public entities working together to help restore and preserve the Verde River and its tributaries. OneForTheVerde.org . Without OFTV funding ACA and VRVNO could not keep these local, annual introductory workshops and special volunteer Safety Boater training workshops, affordable for our communities.  This year’s 2016/17 Safe River Recreation Grant from OFTV has allowed VRVNO to bring you 3 Introductory workshops and one special training in swift water rescue and river event management for their volunteer Safety Boaters.

Registration is now open online through  the VRVNO website at http://vrvno.org/events/classes-workshops/   or contact our Registrar Jeri Higgins at Registrar@VRVNO.org . In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
