    Dear Editor:
I subscribed to your online newsletter back when my wife and I were building a house in Sedona and planned to move there, until we realized and learned throughout the building process what a divided  place Sedona really is, an unfortunate hornet’s nest under the beautiful red rock facade.
It literally felt as though everybody feels the strong need to have a cause, and instead of loving thy neighbor our experience had been that everyone was instead at each other’s throats.  Sad.  I fully understand the somewhat unique dynamics about Sedona that would lend itself to this troubled and unfortunate vibe, but really, in this day and age, no excuse.
We chose to move to another state instead and we thank God every day for that decision.  I still receive and have continued to peruse your cool and unique newsletter every so often, and I’m literally amazed at the vitriol spewed by keyboard warriors who like to hear themselves talk with all their self-serving (and nauseating) little cute-isms and think they’re smarter than the rest of us.
It doesn’t matter what side of the aisle I’m on, that kinda talk coming from either side is plainly pathetic, boring, predictable, and well now, dangerous.  I regularly read a lot of periodicals, and I can honestly say that I never come across feedback letters with anywhere near as much ignorant and disgusting bullshit as those printed in yours.
I saw that you recently broadcast to your readers that you will no longer print any reader feedback letters pertaining to any articles regarding local political figures.
I’m no newsletter editor, but I gotta tell you respectfully, I think it’s time for you to also put an end to the feedback letters you receive regarding ALL politicians, all the way up to POTUS.  With President Trump having just narrowly escaped execution, unnecessary vitriol spewed like that which I’ve read in response to your columns can only contribute to this new, unfortunate and very sad reality we’ve just entered.
I truly think you would have to agree.
Well, that’s about all I have to say, my best to you in your future endeavors and however you should choose to proceed.
    Best,

    JC

Hi J.C. I agree with you. I would like to leave Sedona as well, I have been here a long time and it has changed for the worse. Lots of GREED now. If you see this, I’d love to know what state you moved to since you like it so well. Its hared to leave such beauty.

I moved to Sedona in 1991, it was an amazing place. I moved away in 2014 to another place in Arizona. Not nearly as naturally beautiful but as with people beautiful isn’t everything.

Sedona when I moved there was a beautiful upscale tourist area . Sedona now is a tourist trap, expensive, too much traffic and it seems to have lost it’s soul to greed. The change makes me sad, I planned on dying in my home with the amazing vistas.

      Life goes on.

JC I feel you are attempting to shut down my first amendment right to free speech. I have never promoted violence against anyone ever on here so let’s set the record straight on that.
In fact I would much prefer that Draft Dodging Insurrectionist Felon Dump go to a super max prison and placed in isolation 24-7 for the rest of his life as punishment for his treason and insure than see any physical harm done to him or the unfortunate who flock to him. He on the other hand wants military tribunals for those who rightfully and legally investigated his insurrection so that they can face execution as is the punishment for treason (which only he has committed) under military law. The French government put Carlos the Jackel in an isolation cell and it was the very best punishment for him. No visitors either! It’s the perfect punishment for criminals of that caliber.
Dump promoted violence against the media, science, doctors, people in handcuffs, judges, lawyers, prosecutors and even courthouse clerks. He ridiculed the handicapped, disabled veterans, POWs, KIA’s and Gold Star Families. But I never saw a word on here from you to express your disdain for that.
People don’t want a DICKtator. They want a law abiding leader who represents all M’ericans not just the white, Christian and wealthy ones.
Not changing my mind or the way I refer to their criminality sawry!

Please share where you live that does not have division – I want to move there.

    Hey Papi
    Happy Father’s Day Papi!

How’s it going up there in heaven? It’s Father’s Day here on Earth, and I’m thinking of you—missing you—now that I’m one year older than you were when you passed away. I just want to thank you for everything you taught me. Thank you for taking such good care of me. Thank you for helping me walk when I couldn’t walk. Thank you for making me strong against all adversity. Thank you for teaching me how to look behind the scenes and see what’s not being shown.
