    Rotary Club of Sedona Village Hosts Annual Spring Plant Sale – May 10

    Sedona News – The Rotary Club of Sedona Village will host its annual Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 7:30 to 11:00 AM at the Village Rotary Community Garden, 25 W. Saddlehorn Road (former Big Park School).

    This special community event kicks off the growing season with a wide selection of plants and seeds, including:

    • Milkweed and pollinator plants provided by the Monarch Society
    • Plants and seeds grown by students at Verde Valley School Gardens
    • Organic, non-GMO tomato, squash, cucumber, and bean starts from the Village Rotary Garden
    • Select your own garden bed for lease…only a few left for this year

    In addition to the plant offerings, the event will feature booths and activities from local organizations, including:

    Sedona Gift Shop

    • Sedona Bee Company
    • International Hummingbird Society
    • Project Fill the Need
    • Volunteer Sedona
    • And a special treat from Cheeky Kiwi New Zealand Ice Cream

    Everyone is welcome to come celebrate the start of the growing season, support local programs, and enjoy a morning of community connection.  sedonavillagerotary.org

    Council Slams the Brakes on Flock Surveillance in Sedona

    The Sedona City Council through a majority consensus voted 5–1 at its Wednesday, August 13, special meeting, to temporarily shelve a controversial auto license-reading surveillance program, with council members  Melissa Dunn, Kathy Kinsella  Brian Fultz,  Derek J. Pfaf and Pete Furman giving a thumbs down,  and Sedona Mayor Scott Jablow supporting the cameras.
