    Richard David for Men’s Wrap It at the “Y” Project
    Raises $2,147.00 for 7 Local Charities

    Sedona’s citizens pool their time and talents to raise money for Granite Mountain Hotshot Families and 6 other charities.

    Sedona AZ (January 30, 2014) – Verde Valley men’s store, Richard David for Men, is very pleased to announce that “Wrap It at the Y” raised $2,147.00 for seven local charities.

    Supported by donations from Holiday Central Sedona, Wrap It at the “Y” offered a free gift wrapping station. All totaled:

    Own In Sedona

    • 65 volunteers wrapped
    • 363 gifts during
    • 24 days on which Wrap It was open.

    On January 13, 2014, Jeffrey Byrnes, President of Richard David for Men, presented checks to:     

    Sedona Gift Shop

    • Granite Mountain Hotshot Families:              $476.00
    • Prescott Wounded Warriors:                          $422.00
    • Sedona Toys for Tots:                                    $360.00
    • Sedona Humane Society:                              $325.00
    • Red Rock High School Music Programs:           $239.00
    • Boy Scout Troop 48:                                      $205.00
    • Share-a-Bear:                                               $120.00.

    Celebrating these accomplishments were crews of the Sedona Fire Department, volunteer wrappers, Sedona officials, Encore Theater staff, and local entertainer,  Paulo. Honored guests who supported this project from its inception included Jennifer Wesselhoff (Sedona Chamber of Commerce), Joshua Wells (Sedona Verde Valley Firefighters Charity), Lloyd Dellacort (Prescott Wounded Warriors), Leonard Barrow (Sedona Toys for Tots), and Captain Anthony Weber (Arizona Rangers with his rescued greyhound, Clark Gable).

    Richard David for Men’s Marketing Manager, Kathy Skinner, and Social Media/PR Manager, Kathy Lee, spent countless hours organizing, wrapping presents, recruiting volunteers. They devoted their time and talents to make this project a success.
