Cottonwood AZ (July 8, 2016) – Red Rose Re-Tails Thrift, the pop-up store that opened its doors in August of 2015 in Cottonwood announced at the beginning of June that it would be closing by the end of that month.  Regular shoppers, and community members voiced their sadness, to see one of their favorite thrift stores leaving.  When told the reasons why, they understood completely.  “It’s about the animals, and it always has been.”

Red Rose Inspiration for Animals is going to be putting more resources and hard work into the nine different animal rescue and assistance programs, as well as the many animals in their direct care, currently at 29 without a facility.  Already people have witnessed what focusing these resources can yield, when they welcome a new family member into their home that had been fostered by the Red Rose team.

I cannot thank you enough!  He came to us already potty trained, crate trained, and he slept through the night.  He and my youngest daughter have become best friends.  They follow each other around all day long.  I even find them sleeping together.  Kyen (our other dog) and [Petey] have so much fun together.  They play and play and play.  Thank you again for letting us adopt him.” – Sherri (Proud parent of a Red Rose Inspiration Puppy)

Red Rose Inspiration for Animals doesn’t simply send a dog or a cat away to a new home without first knowing that that animal will have hit the jackpot with their new family; and such was the case with Petey, now named ‘Kona,’ with his new loving family.  He is just one of many animals who have come to Red Rose Inspiration for Animals with no home or future in sight.  Young kittens, senior dogs, loving puppies, and beautiful cats all await loving forever homes, and wait patiently in the care of the Red Rose team.

Beyond the animals in Red Rose care, there are the varied rescue and assistance programs, fundraising art shows, and the thrift store.  Red Rose Inspiration for Animals continues to be a strong supporter of the community and the Verde Valley – assisting families with spay and neuter services, working diligently on feral cat trapping and release, and so much more.

You’re invited to learn more about Red Rose Inspiration for Animals, and find out how you can be a part of something grand.  We have a very small team and could use the assistance of those individuals who share the same passion.    Look up Red Rose Inspiration for Animals on Facebook and LIKE our page,  visit the website www.redroseinspiration.org – or stop by in person the Red Rose Thriftique in Bell Rock Plaza in the Village of Oak Creek.    For more information email us at info@redroseinspiration.org

    The Apprentice

Watching the latest debate from end to end once again it appears that the future of the GOP rests upon the shoulders of Vivek Ramasamy. Not sure exactly why but he simply outshines the pack. He has fresh energy and is light on his feet. He’s smart, confident and slick. He has snap. Crackle and Pop. He is young. A successful businessman and fearless. He is like a young Trump apprentice, full of vim and vigor and ready to rumble. Everyone else on the debate stage appeared dull, cranky or lifeless. Halley looked like she was suffering from a terminal case of constipation and badly needs a wardrobe manager. Christie looked like someone who bit into an apple, found a half-eaten worm, and decided to eat it anyway. DeSantis just keeps getting more and more boring; a somnambulist on Percocet. Scott looked like a misogynistic woman beater talking over Haley. Pence looked like an undertaker at his own funeral. Burgum, who? Read more→
