City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (August 10, 2015) – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held at Sedona City Hall on Wednesday, August 26 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Vultee Conference Room, 102 Roadrunner Drive.

Representatives from the American Red Cross will be on hand to make donors comfortable and offer light refreshments.

To meet the needs of patients throughout the county, the American Red Cross must collect 15,000 donations daily and the City of Sedona is proud to be able to assist the Red Cross in their efforts to save lives.

During the summer, blood donations typically decrease across the country while the need for blood donations remains constant, making partnerships to provide a blood drive crucial.

Members of the Sedona and Verde Valley communities are encouraged to give blood or come in support of a friend who will be donating blood.  Signing up is fast and simple through the American Red Cross website. Donors can visit www.redcrossblood.org, enter the sponsor code “86336”, and select a time convenient for them.

Change a life, starting with your own, by making an appointment to donate at this blood drive.
