Multi-Purpose Space Expands on Menu for New Recurring Queen B Sushi Night on Feb. 6
COTTONWOOD, Ariz. – Queen B Vinyl Café will celebrate the release of Normal Isn’t, the new album from Puscifer, the band led by co-owner and Grammy Award-winning musician Maynard James Keenan. On Feb. 5 at 11 p.m., the café is hosting a sold-out advance listening party and early screening of Puscifer’s concert film, Normal Isn’t: Puscifer Live at the Pacific Stock Exchange, in advance of its Feb. 6 release. It will be the first place across the nation to hear the new album.
The shop will open to the general public for a midnight sale of the album, and the café side will stay open late with a limited menu for those who weren’t able to get a ticket and want to hang out until midnight. Due to popular demand, additional listening parties, capped at 60 guests each, were added Feb 6-7 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 8 at 6 p.m., all of which quickly reached capacity.

On Feb. 6, Queen B Vinyl Café’s new recurring Queen B Sushi night will take place from 4 – 8 p.m. These events feature an extended menu with starters and shared plates, sashimi and nigiri, and classic and signature rolls, as well as Queen B’s popular ramen dishes. There will also be an omakase option for $125 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) with a chef-curated menu showcasing rare seasonal seafood, fresh produce from Merkin’s gardens and indigenous foraged wild foods. Guests can pre-purchase an omakase experience here.
“The demand for Queen B’s sushi night has been overwhelming, so expanding the sushi menu was a natural next step,” says Chef Brett Vibber. “We can now showcase a wider range of organic seafood and will be expanding the concept on a bi-monthly basis starting in March.”

Located in the heart of Old Town Cottonwood, Queen B Vinyl Café is an immersive space that combines a record store, café, wine bar, ramen house, coffee roastery, barbershop, and in-house silkscreen, direct-to-garment printing, and design studio. The café hosts a multitude of all-ages events for the community including concerts, open mic poetry nights, book reading and signings, movie screenings, and more.

Fun place with great espresso and good eats. Also great having such a great musician in our community.
Here’s a great article about Maynard I read just yesterday-

He’s made Cottonwood and Jerome fun places to eat and drink. Looking forward to his next local venture.
