Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “Red Rocks Magic” — an extraordinary audience-driven magical experience — on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

The 75-minute journey promises an afternoon of “mind-to-mind” magic and apparent ESP that will leave guests energized, inspired and amazed.

Psychological illusionist and Master Mentalist Brett Barry presents his mind-boggling Sedona themed show exploring the powers of the mind and unseen connections we have to one another. Red Rocks Magic is a “sleights of mind” tour-de-force, with extensive audience interactions.

Surrounded by the incredible beauty and palette of the rich desert colors of Sedona, Red Rocks Magic incorporates the magic of this stunning environment.

Thoughts will be revealed, and no two shows are ever alike.

This is NOT a hypnosis or a psychic show. Brett is not a medium and will not speak to your dear departed! Rather, he is an entertainer that seeks to create the illusion of mind-reading and bring audiences together for a fun shared experience of utter wonder.

He will act as a your guide and “chef,” serving up thoughts and moments of impossibility — destinations unknown.

He admits that he often picks up on thoughts by paying attention to little things that most people often never notice. But he does. He doesn’t read minds – he reads people.

The audience will make their own choices. The audience will make their own decisions. Yet somehow, Brett Barry (often, but not always) knows.

The question is were they your thoughts or were they his?  Does it really matter?

He promises that everything during the show will be UNREAL. So, fasten your seatbelts for an unexpected ride of exquisite entertainment.

Brett Barry has performed for hundreds of audiences across the country since 2013, including numerous Fortune 500 organizations such as Uber, Goldman Sachs, and Amex. He is also an innovator in the mystery arts as a creator and consultant for many well-known luminaries on TV and stage.

He is thrilled to bring his curated Red Rocks Magic experience to the gorgeous Mary D. Fisher theater in Sedona!

Join us for this extraordinary and mind-blowing event on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

General seating tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door on event day. Premier (front row) best seats are available for $45 and $55 on event day (front row seats include a complimentary glass of Rosé upon arrival or a soda/water).

All tickets include an after-show meet-and-greet with Mentalist Brett Barry, where he will also demonstrate a metal bending experiment while surrounded.

From Protest Signs to Missiles: Why Peace Needs Teeth
    .By Tommy Acosta

As a child of the ’60s, I grew up hating war—protesting and demonstrating against them, uncovering as a writer the global military-industrial complex, and seeking peace with my pen. Through the years, I saw myself as a herald—someone who could help people, through my writings, liberate themselves from programmed ignorance and institutionalized stupidity. Well, now that I am in the third act of my life, my understanding of how the world works has changed.
