logo_professionalwomensgroupCottonwood AZ (August 2, 2017) – The Professional Women’s Group will hold their Business After Hours Event on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at The Bordello of Jerome, 412 Main Street in Jerome, AZ. from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Join us for an exciting evening of PWG women in business networking, providing you the opportunity to promote your business or service. Our hosts at The Bordello have a varied menu of exotic burgers in a relaxed and artistic atmosphere.

Our speaker is our own Eve Moffatt. Her topic is Stroke and the Long Journey Back. Imagine a bomb going off in your head and not being aware of it, not knowing that life as you knew it had changed, literally overnight while you slept. That’s what it was like for Eve, who suffered an ischemic stroke. Come hear her story of struggle, rage, determination and acceptance. Her story is an honest and daring account of what it was like, what happened and what it’s like today. It will inspire you.

There will be a raffle drawing for a free luncheon in October and some wonderful door prizes.

Pre-registration for this event is NOT necessary.

People fail to understand that on the streets, cops are basically “God.” You can’t fight them. If it takes one, two, five, ten or twenty officers they will eventually put you down and hurt you if they have to in the process of detaining or arresting you. In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
