Plan for lane closure at two bridges on State Route 89A
east of Sedona April 27 – 30

Sedona AZ (April 23, 2020) – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane closures on State Route 89A east of Sedona at Midgley Bridge (milepost 376) and Oak Creek Bridge (milepost 381) beginning Monday, April 27, and ending Thursday, April 30. The lane closures are needed to complete resurfacing of the bridge decks.

The four-day resurfacing work is scheduled from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m.

During this time, the bridges will be narrowed to a single lane with flaggers directing traffic. Drivers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

Motorists should allow extra travel time, slow down in the work zone and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
