Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to partner with Unify Sedona to host a special encore of “Disobedience” in observation of Pride Month on Friday, June 23 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

“Disobedience” follows New York photographer Ronit Krushka as she returns to her Orthodox Jewish community that shunned her decades earlier for an attraction to a female childhood friend, Esti.
Their fortuitous and happy reunion soon reignites their burning passion as the two women explore boundaries of faith and sexuality.
Based on Naomi Alderman’s book, the film stars Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams and Alessandro Nivola.
