    OLLI Winter 2020 Open House

    logo_olli3Sedona AZ (January 9, 2020) – OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) Winter 2020 Open House will be held Thursday, January 16, 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Yavapai College Sedona Center located at 4215 Arts Village Drive in Sedona. There will be a “Meet and Greet” in the lounge area where prospective students can talk to the Winter facilitators about the courses being offered during the Winter Term. Come listen to a presentation by Sedona Culinary Institute Director, Chef Robert Barr, and learn about OLLI updates.

    This event is open to everyone, bring a friend, decide and enroll in classes that interest you, and enjoy meeting and visiting with new and current OLLI members. Refreshments will be provided by the Sedona Culinary Institute. For more information, call OLLI at 928-649-4275.

    What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
