Sedona AZ (February 25, 2017) – The annual competitive grants process for the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona will provide financial support to worthy projects and programs serving residents of Sedona and the Verde Valley. The online grant application is now open at azfoundation.org/grants. Completed applications must be submitted before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 to be considered.
Nonprofit organizations, public schools, municipalities and Tribal entities are invited to apply for funding to support projects and programs serving local communities. The Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona accepts funding requests in amounts ranging from $500 to $10,000. Grant funding may be awarded in interest areas including healthcare, arts and culture, environment and sustainability, animal welfare, social services, children’s programs, seniors and individuals with disabilities, community improvement, and diversity education and training. Projects must provide services within Sedona and the Verde Valley.
Last year, the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona awarded more than $181,000 in grants through its competitive grants cycle—plus an additional $100,000 in challenge grants—for a total of over $281,000 awarded to 45 nonprofit organizations serving residents of Sedona and the Verde Valley.
