GIS stands for Geographic Information Systems and is a computer-based mapping and information system.  It combines layers of information about a place to give you a better understanding of that place.  A GIS system requires hardware, software and data. Together, they are used to perform data capturing, analysis, cartographic map display and production.  The City of Sedona’s GIS serves the geographic information needs of all the city departments and Sedona residents.

Please contact the City of Sedona GIS Analyst at (928) 204-7206 if you have any questions regarding the maps or data.

    Compassion Has no Party

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, one truth remains: the vast majority of people on this planet are, at their core, decent. They believe in fairness, in dignity, and in the simple idea that other human beings matter.
