Sedona AZ (May 27, 2017) – American Visionary: The Story of Barbara Marx Hubbard will have its world premiere at the Illuminate Film Festival on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. The documentary will screen at the Sedona Center for the Performing Arts at 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road.

Hubbard, now 87, will receive the festival’s prestigious Conscious Visionary Award. Tickets are $25 and available at http://illuminatefilmfestival.com.

Humanity is on the brink of radical advancement, believes Barbara Marx Hubbard, who has been called “the voice for conscious evolution of our time” by Deepak Chopra.

Featuring authors Marianne Williamson, Jack Canfield, Neale Donald Walsch, and more than forty fellow visionaries, this inspiring documentary examines what a positive future might look like and how we could get there.

Hubbard asks, “How can we drive through our global crises and blossom into a future that is equal to our human potential?”

“Many Americans have lost faith in our country’s promise,” says director Karen Everett. “American Visionary can crack through the prevailing mentality of doom and gloom and start conversations about what conscious evolution might look like.”

In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
