    Sedona Film Festival hosts big-screen debut of new production at Fisher Theatre

    logo_siff5_TBSedona AZ (August 5, 2019) – The National Theatre of London continues its season with its acclaimed new production of “The Lehman Trilogy” showing in Sedona on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. The Sedona International Film Festival hosts the big screen premiere at its Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

    “The Lehman Trilogy” is the story of a family and a company that changed the world, told in three parts on a single evening.

    Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Skyfall) directs Simon Russell Beale, Adam Godley and Ben Miles who play the Lehman Brothers, their sons and grandsons.

    “The Lehman Trilogy” is the story of a family and a company that changed the world, told in three parts on a single evening. Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Skyfall) directs Simon Russell Beale, Adam Godley and Ben Miles who play the Lehman Brothers, their sons and grandsons.

    On a cold September morning in 1844 a young man from Bavaria stands on a New York dockside. Dreaming of a new life in the new world. He is joined by his two brothers and an American epic begins. 163 years later, the firm they establish – Lehman Brothers – spectacularly collapses into bankruptcy, and triggers the largest financial crisis in history.

    “The Lehman Trilogy” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15, or $12.50 for Film Festival members. Tickets are available in advance at the Sedona International Film Festival office or by calling 928-282-1177 or online atwww.SedonaFilmFestival.org. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona.
