Verde Valley News – On June 6, 2024, Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) performed 222 sports physicals in Camp Verde for students from 12 Verde Valley area schools. For the cost of $10, student athletes were able to complete their required physicals before the start of the fall sports season.
All proceeds collected from each physical will be donated to the athletic departments of those students’ schools. Including donations, this event raised over $2,220 for Verde Valley youth athletic department programs.
Providers from all five NAH Primary Care clinics, Immediate Care and the Orthopedic & Spine Institute helped complete the students’ physicals, and support staff from NAH Primary Care clinics, scheduling teams, EntireCare, security and Copper Canyon EMS also contributed to the event’s success.
