City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (December 19, 2012) – On November 13, 2012, the Sedona City Council appointed Louis Harper to fill a vacancy on the Budget Oversight Commission. The seat is for a two-year term, ending October 31, 2014. At the December 11, 2012 Sedona City Council meeting, the City Council re-appointed Ronald Budnick, Larry Pack and Steve Segner to their seats which expired November 1, 2012. The Budget Oversight Commission assists the City of Sedona in preparing the five-year capital plan and annual budget. The commission is solely advisory to the City Council but plays a key role in providing important public input on budget policy, including revenue recommendations, capital planning processes and prioritization for continuation or elimination of programming and services in order to maintain a balanced budget.
