logo_MATForceVerde Valley AZ (February 11, 2013) – MATFORCE and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office announce the annual MATFORCE Youth Poster Contest. Yavapai County youth ages 5 to 18 are invited to participate in the contest by creating an original poster that depicts an anti-drug message.

Deputy Scott Reed of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said, “Each year we receive hundreds of outstanding entries for the contest. Each entry is to be commended. Students use a great deal of creativity in speaking out against drug abuse and choosing a healthy lifestyle instead.”

20130211_MATFORCE-Youth-Poster-2012There are many ways to win. An overall Grand Prize winning poster will be chosen and the winner may select one of the following prizes: $500 cash, a 16 GB iPad 2 or an Xbox 360 with a choice of game. $25 cash gift cards will be awarded to the winners in each of seven age categories. The winning poster will be used in MATFORCE’s 2013 promotional materials.

During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
