Prescott News – Get ready for a night of country, swing, folk and blues from one of the best live entertainers in the business. The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center proudly invites you to the return of Lyle Lovett & His Acoustic Group, Saturday night, March 8, at 7 p.m. on Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus.

Some performers defy easy categories. They move fluidly between musical styles in search of the best melody, the best lyrics or the most meaningful story to tell. Since his self-titled debut in 1986, Lyle Lovett has evolved into one of music’s most vibrant and iconic artists. His 14 award-winning albums and critically acclaimed live shows highlight more than the Texas legend’s talent. They also illustrate the diversity of his musical influences. Lovett’s work fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner, making him one of popular music’s most compelling and captivating performers.

    Whack – A – Mole War

It looks like the tried-and-true method of armed conflict where armies face each other and kill until somebody wins or gives up, now all it takes is assassinating the leadership Israeli style. We enter a new phase of war where the leaders are killed first rather than last as in conventional warfare.
