logo_sedonaartscenterSedona AZ (January 23, 2013) – Last December, Loving Bowls drew in over 500 people who lined up to get their unique handmade bowls and chili. The charitable event supports three deserving local nonprofits. On January 10, 2013 Vince Monaci of Sedona Food Bank, John Tamiazzo of Sedona Community Center and Dennis Ott of the Ceramics Department at Sedona Arts Center were presented with checks by Pam Frazier, Executive Director of Sedona Arts Center.

20130123_sacEach year, Sedona Arts Center opens its doors to ceramicists, potters, locals and visitors alike to participate in the creation of bowls for this event. Special thanks goes out to the generous individuals with ceramics experience who volunteered their skills and time. Through donations to the event, Sedona Arts Center’s Ceramics Department has been able to provide all clay, glazing and firings. Each year they aspire to create over 800 bowls and 50 silent auction items.
