Sedona, AZ — Did you know that the power to keep your beloved pets happy and healthy and to help them heal when they are not, lies at your fingertips, literally?

Sedona author Thomas Acosta has written and published a book titled  Healing Paws Method that explains  how by pressing specific points on your pet’s paws, robust health and deep healing are achieved.

The holistic technique is based upon the ancient art of Reflexology, a non-invasive healing and relaxation technique for humans that has been around for centuries.

Reflexology is based on the principle that specific points on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to different organs and systems in the body and by simply applying pressure to these points with your fingers health and healing are achieved.

Reflexology stimulates the body’s natural healing mechanisms, promoting overall wellbeing.

Reflexology has been around for thousands of years, with evidence of its use dating back to ancient Egypt, China, and India.

Acosta, himself a Reflexologist, has developed a new method and specific charts for applying Reflexology on pets as well as humans, focusing on their paws in the same manner Reflexology is applied to the hands and feet of people.

Keep your pets strong and healthy with pet Reflexology

In his Healing Paws Method book, he covers specific techniques for specific ailments while noting the benefits of the holistic technique.

“The benefits of reflexology for pets are numerous,” he said. “By stimulating specific points on their paws, a Reflexologist can help boost their immune system, improve their digestion, relieve pain and tension, and promote relaxation. Reflexology can also be used to treat specific health conditions, such as arthritis, allergies, and anxiety. By learning the principles and techniques of Reflexology, pet owners can take an active role in their pet’s health and happiness.”

According to Acosta, one reason why holistic approaches to modern veterinary practices are catching on is that pet owners are becoming more aware of the potential side effects of conventional medicine.

While prescription medications can be effective, they can also have harmful side effects that may cause more harm than good. Pet Reflexology, on the other hand, is a natural, non-invasive treatment that can be used alongside conventional medicine to enhance its effectiveness, according to Acosta.

In his book, Acosta gives insider tips and detailed charts to guide you on your path to help your pet heal naturally. The Healing Paws Method provides you with colorful charts of the specific points on a pet’s paws that connect to the animal’s healing centers.

Healing Paws Method has received numerous positive reviews since its publication with many readers praising its practical advice and easy-to-follow instructions.

Steve Segner, past president of the World Pet Association, a global non-profit organization committed to advancing pet welfare and excellence in the pet industry, said the following of the Healing Paws Method book:

“As someone who pioneered one of the first all-natural pet foods and has dedicated over 40 years to advocating for alternative animal health products, I approached Thomas Acosta’s Healing Paws Method with a degree of skepticism. After all, in my extensive career in pet health, I’ve encountered countless methodologies and treatments.

However, I am pleased to say that this book has surpassed my expectations. Healing Paws Method is a well-written, insightful guide that merges thorough research with practical application. Acosta’s approach to pet health, particularly for older pets, is both innovative and refreshing.

The book is not only engaging but also visually appealing, featuring excellent graphics that enhance the reader’s understanding. What stands out most is how Acosta effectively connects pressure points with practical advice, offering a holistic perspective on pet wellness.

For pet owners, especially those with older animals, Healing Paws Method is an invaluable resource. It fills a significant gap in the literature on pet health, providing clear, actionable guidance that can make a real difference in the lives of our beloved companions.

I wholeheartedly recommend Healing Paws Method to anyone invested in the well-being of their pets. It’s a must-have addition to any pet owner’s collection.”

Reflexology is all about touch focused on specific points and applied with love and intention, according to Acosta. It’s all about loving your pet.

“The power of love and touch can never be overestimated, especially when it comes to your pet,” Acosta said. “A pet loves you with their whole heart and soul and you love them back as deeply as they do you. As animal lovers, we always want the best for our furry companions. We take them to the vet, give them nutritious food, and make sure they get plenty of exercise. We care for them as we would our own children.”

Acosta hopes his book will make a difference in the quality of life for pets and their owners as well.

“Healing Paws Method will give you the power to keep your pets happy and healthy and help them heal faster when they get sick,” Acosta said. “If you are looking for another holistic approach to pet care, give Reflexology a try. Your furry companions will thank you. It’s simply Pawsome!”

Great story. Didn’t realize you are a dog lover. I use a combination of reflexology, acupressure and basic massage on our dogs to keep them moving and as pain free as possible. Golden Bone in town offers a great deal of both traditional and non traditional healing for dogs such as stem cell treatments. So there is much more we can do for our pets than traditional veterinary care.

    If I Were Curtis Sliwa
    By Tommy Acosta

One of my guilty little pleasures is imagining what I would do if I was in someone else’s shoes, especially politicians. In this essay I would love to jump into the shoes of Curtis Sliwa, a former New York City vigilante who founded the Guardian Angels and is now running as a Republican for mayor of his city.
