APS and the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) are planning a new way to rip us off — “demand charges.”

A demand charge is not based on how much electricity you use but how much you use at once. In other words, if you have all your stuff powered at once you could cross a set threshold which would then put you in a higher rate bracket for the entire month. Read More→

Enough is enough, I am one of those customers that have solar on my roof, which was suppose to help my electric bill, but it seems that APS has found ways to minimize their losses, as my bill seems to be filled with more added taxes and charges on it. I am still barely coming out ahead, but will soon be paying more per month if they continue to have their way. It is dispicable that because you are trying to help the environment and wean off the dependency of the grid that APS penalizes you with all of these fees, but it doesn’t surprise me since it seems that there is no government over site. APS and other electric companies will continue to rip the people off if we continue to let them.

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, one truth remains: the vast majority of people on this planet are, at their core, decent. They believe in fairness, in dignity, and in the simple idea that other human beings matter.
