Sedona News – Volunteer Sedona & the Verde (VSVV), in collaboration with the city of Sedona Sustainability Department are hosting a free Volunteer Expo on Wednesday, May 14, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Hub at Posse Grounds Park, located at 525-B Posse Grounds Road.

The Expo will serve as a valuable opportunity for organizations to connect with locals who are eager to make a difference. The Volunteer Expo aims to:

    • Promote local nonprofit organizations – the event will showcase over 40 local
non-profit organizations seeking individuals for volunteer opportunities.
    • Facilitate volunteer recruitment – provide direct engagement opportunities
for volunteers to meet our community organizations and learn about their
missions. Volunteers will receive information about ongoing and future projects
and events. All events and signups will be posted on VSVV.org, the local
volunteering hub for Volunteer Sedona & the Verde Valley.
    • Encourage community networking – The event
aim to foster connections between nonprofit organizations, community
leaders, and potential volunteers in Sedona and the Verde Valley,
strengthening collaborative efforts for positive community impacts.
