    League of Women Voters Candidates’ Forum for Cottonwood City Council

    logo_leagueofwomenvotersCottonwood AZ (April 10, 2013) – May 21, 2013 is General Election Day for candidates running for Cottonwood City Council. The League of Women Voters Greater Verde Valley is holding a candidates’ forum on Thursday, May 2 at 2 pm. The forum will be an in-studio forum held at Verde Valley TV in Cottonwood.

    There are two candidates running for one city council seat. The candidates include incumbent council members – Linda Norman and Tim Eliniski. The candidates have been asked to address their reason for running city council, their qualifications and the biggest challenge they see facing Cottonwood. The public is being asked to submit written questions for the candidates to answer to the League of Women Voters Greater Verde Valley at lwvsvv@yahoo.com

    The taped candidates forum will be posted to Verde Valley TV’s YouTube account http://www.youtube.com/user/VerdeValleyTV and can be seen at

    The last day to register to vote for the Cottonwood General Election is April 22, 1013. If you don’t know if you are registered, or are not registered, visit the website of the Arizona Secretary of State at http://www.azsos.gov for registration information. This election is a mail-in election. Ballots will be mailed out the week of April 29, 2013.
