logo_ksbSedona AZ (January 16, 2020) – Some of Keep Sedona Beautiful’s litter lifters have served literally for decades.  It’s both personally rewarding and great exercise. However, we do regularly have openings.  Right now, we’re looking for additional volunteers who are willing to regularly clean assigned routes.  We provide all of the equipment you’ll need. You just supply the community spirit and the labor.

20200116_ksbThe following miles are available for litter lifting volunteers:

    Sedona Gift Shop

    • Long Canyon Road to Boynton Pass Road
    • Airport Road to Mountain Shadows
    • SR179 Mile 313 – 314
    • SR179 Mile 309 West – 310 West
    • SR179 Mile 309 East – 310 East – Summer months only
    • Bell Rock Blvd from SR179 to Verde Valley School Road
    • Verde Valley School Road to Deer Pass Drive
    • Forest Road 618- Interstate 17 to Beaver Creek

You can email ksb@keepsedonabeautiful.org or call KSB at 928-282-4938 to learn more about the litter lifting program, and discuss how you can help keep Sedona beautiful.

Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
