Sedona News – In a historic move, Sedona’s City Council and Canmore, Canada’s Town Council have unanimously approved an official “Friendship Cities” designation between the two picturesque locales. This exciting development opens the doors to a multitude of opportunities for collaboration and cultural exchange between Sedona and Canmore.
What does this mean for both communities? Volunteer committees in Sedona and Canmore will embark on a journey to explore potential shared projects and exchanges that will strengthen the bond between these two vibrant destinations.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, you are cordially invited to join us for the Member/Guest Brunch on May 19, 10 AM at Sedona’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre. This event promises to be a delightful gathering where attendees can learn more about the Friendship Cities agreement and engage in discussions about future collaborations. Don Groves and the Canmore Committee will be on hand to share the initial plans for shared projects and exchanges between Canmore and Sedona. We are pleased to announce another exciting development on the horizon – the expressed interest of Jasło, Poland, in becoming Sedona’s Sister City. Join Edyta Wieczorek and the Jasło Committee as they introduce attendees to this beautiful and historic city in Southern Poland.
