    Human Impacts on the Verde River’s Base Flow, 1910-2110

    logo_cwag3Verde Valley AZ (April 23, 2013) – Retired U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologist Ed Wolfe will discuss a new USGS report, “Human Effects on the Hydrologic System, 1910-2005 and 2005-2110, Using a Regional Groundwater-Flow Model,” when he speaks to the Citizens Water Advocacy Group on Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 882 Sunset in Prescott (two blocks behind True Value).

    Wolfe will present an analysis of the USGS study results he prepared in conjunction with retired USGS hydrologist Bill Meyer. Wolfe is a member of the Verde River Basin Partnership’s Coordinating Committee and chairs the Partnership’s Technical Advisory Group. He is vice chair of the Verde Watershed Association.
