    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to partner with award-winning surround sound composer and producer Koz Mraz for a two-night Surround Sound Music Experience, featuring Hans Zimmer, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

    Experience a mind-blowing, exclusive, musical extravaganza featuring multi-Academy Award-winning film score producer, Hans Zimmer. Zimmer has composed the music scores for over 150 films. Epic movies like The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of The Caribbean, Pearl Harbor, The Da Vinci Code, Inception, Interstellar, and The Dark Knight.

    Released 1967 MOODY BLUES: Days of Future Past mixed in surround sound is simply astounding. A concept album that included orchestral arrangements by Peter Knight is considered to be the first progressive rock concept album.

    Engineer, producer, and composer Alan Parsons is famous for engineering Pink Floyds “Dark Side of the Moon.” His album Tales of Mystery & Imagination is a cinematic surround experience based on the work of Edgar Allen Poe.

    Reminiscent of the lost art of listening to music in the dark, the Surround Sound Music Experience is presented by Award-Winning Surround Sound composer/producer Koz Mraz (Discus Award, 5.1 Category 2001, Communicator Surround Award 2002, Aurora Surround Award; Surround Grammy nominee 2005). A College Professor at Citrus College, Glendale, and Pasadena College, Mraz taught classes in music production, audio engineering, and broadcast technology for over 15 years. He offers educational presentations via the Fair Use Doctrine of the U.S. Copyright Statute.

    Limited to a maximum seating of 50 each night.

    This special two-night event is on Wednesday and Thursday, May 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. Tickets are $20 each night.
