    Guitar Lessons at Posse Grounds Park

    City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (December 5, 2018) – The Sedona Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer ongoing guitar lessons under the instruction of experienced guitarist Matt Hennager. Classes will be held on Wednesdays beginning Jan. 9 in the recreation room at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Grounds Rd.

    Hennager will offer a free, three-week workshop with the first session on Jan. 9. In addition to the workshop private lessons, Basics of Guitar group lessons, and Beginning Contemporary Rock and Pop Guitar group lessons will be offered.

    The cost to participate is affordable and is different for the various sessions.  Specific questions about student proficiency and method of instruction should be directed to the instructor at matthennager@gmail.com.  To register visit the Parks and Recreation office at Posse Grounds Park or call  928-282-7098.

    Yes, That Was Biden at the
    State of the Union Address

    It was about three minutes into President Biden’s speech in his State of the Union address when I found myself searching for clues as to the speaker’s real identity. “It just couldn’t be him,” I thought. An imposter had taken his place and was getting away with it!” Where was the stumbling, fumbling, bumbling President America has grown to love? What the heck was going on? His demeaner was confident. He was lucid. He did not lose himself somewhere in his mind between sentences. He hardly referred to his notes and went on delivering his message in an almost totally coherent way. He even went off script when Republican hecklers using their doth-the-lady-protest too-loud defense against him, protesting loudly after being accused by Biden that they were out to wipeout Medicare and Social Security.
