Sedona, AZ — Keep Sedona Beautiful will resume the Preserving the Wonder Speaker Series on Wednesday, September 17 at 5:00 pm with a Native Plant Workshop program. This month’s speaker is Master Gardener Graelyn Deslauriers. Her topic will be “Attracting Backyard Birds with Fire-Wise Native Plants.”  Please visit the KSB website, www.keepsedonabeautiful.org for details.

Graelyn will discuss ways we can landscape with native plants that will bring beauty to our landscapes while at the same time providing fire protection to the home and landscape, AND attracting birds.  Prior to the program, attendees are encouraged to walk through KSB’s newly completed fire-wise and community educational garden.  Come early, save a seat, and tour the garden!

Master Gardener Graelyn Deslauriers has a background in health education and social work. She became a Master Gardener when she and her husband moved to the Verde Valley two years ago. She loves speaking to the public about ways to enrich their lives and has a passion for all things gardening related.
