Sedona AZ (December 2, 2016) – The Giving Angels is in desperate need for donations by December 11. Please help them fulfill their commitment to give 600 seniors holiday gift bags this season. The charity provides gifts to independent, low-income seniors in the Verde Valley.
Donation boxes will be at community locations November 1st through December 11th. Donations being sought include, unscented lotion, notecards, stamps, kitchen towels, dishcloths, pot holders, game books, and large-print books. It is requested that items be new.
Donation box locations are: Sedona: Cosse & Wallace CPAs, Chase Bank, Sedona Knit Wits, Blauert Building, Elite Salon, Curves, Oak Creek Hair Salon. Cottonwood: Metro Hair, Quilter’s Corner, Yavapai County Government Annex, Chocolate Blonde, Cottonwood Internal Medicine. Cornville: Verde Santa Fe. VOC: Chase Bank, Colours Salon & Day, Weber’s IGA Food Store, Red Rock Taxes.
For donors who prefer to donate cash, donations may be sent to P.O. Box 3118, Sedona, AZ 86340. Donations are tax deductible and qualify for an Arizona Tax Credit. Cash donations are used for bulk purchases of towels, paper towels, Kleenex and other items.
Efforts are funded by the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona, Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County, Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation, and many business and individual donors.
