    Free Pre-Nursing Workshops at YC Verde Campus

    logo_yavapaicollegeVerde Valley AZ (May 30, 2013Yavapai College will hold free pre-nursing workshops this summer on its Verde campus, 601 Black Hills Drive in Clarkdale, for people interested in learning about the nursing program. Those interested are invited to attend one of the workshops to be held Tuesday, June 4 at noon, Wednesday, July 17 at 4 p.m. or Monday, August 12 at 3 p.m. in Building G, Room 102. No advance registration is required for the workshops.

    Nursing department representatives will review the nursing program curriculum and admission requirements and explain when and how to apply to the program. Registration for the fall semester, which begins August 19, is now open online at www.yc.edu.

    The Yavapai College nursing program offers an Associate Degree in Nursing that prepares qualified students for beginning employment as staff nurses giving direct care to clients.
