Festival partners with Basecamp and Sedona Beer Company for outdoor film experience
Sedona, AZ — It’s “Big Screen at Basecamp” as the Sedona International Film Festival partners with Sedona Beer Company for its “Movies on the Move” cinema under the stars outdoor film experience at Basecamp in West Sedona — every Thursday in the summer season!
Join us on Thursday, June 26 as we present “The Goonies” at Basecamp/Sedona Beer Company at dusk.
The combined talents of two of today’s most prominent filmmakers — Academy Award, Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Steven Spielberg and Richard Donner — created this box office hit that delights the young and the young at heart.
When a group of ordinary kids — called The Goonies — discover a secret treasure map, their sleepy seaport lives are suddenly transformed into a fun-filled, roller-coaster ride filled with heart-pounding adventure and peril. They are seeking the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate, while being pursued by a family of criminals who are after the treasure as well.
“The Goonies” stars Sean Astin, Joe Pantoliano, Anne Ramsey, Martha Plimpton, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Josh Brolin and Robert Davi.
Basecamp will offer a selection of craft beers, food and beverages (and a special menu item themed to each film), with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Sedona International Film Festival.
“The Goonies” will be shown outdoors at Basecamp Sedona Beer Company (70 Dry Creek Road) on Thursday, June 26 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs. Parking is free and available at Basecamp and the Sedona Public Library.
Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
