Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present a live concert event: “From Broadway with Love” on Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at the Sedona Performing Arts Center.

Come join Ezekiel Andrew and Garrett Taylor for an unforgettable night of music and storytelling as we bring you the sounds of Broadway all the way from New York City! They will be joined by special guest Samantha Stevens.

You’re in for a treat as we sing the big band sounds of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Nat King Cole, to the grandeur of Broadway showstoppers including, Stars from “Les Miserables”, Music of the Night from “The Phantom of the Opera”, and Impossible Dream from “The Man of LaMancha”.

Ezekiel Andrew — a native of the Mississippi Delta — enjoys a career of both excitement and versatility. He is most grateful to have performed in some of the major regional theaters across the country. Some of his favorite roles include: Coalhouse Walker Jr. (Theatre Under the Stars), The Beast in “Beauty and the Beast” (Syracuse Stage), and Jim in “Big River” (Utah Shakespeare Festival. In November 2021, he made his Broadway debut with the cast of Disney’s “The Lion King”, where he remains today.

Ezekiel also enjoys being active as a concert artist, most often creating his own programs and opportunities as he travels from theater to theater. With a heart for youth and arts education, Ezekiel enjoys giving back to the community by going to high schools and colleges, holding masterclasses and talkbacks to inspire the next generation of artists.

This special live concert event is sponsored by Susan Valletta and Eddie Washkin, Jr. and Sheri Young.

“From Broadway with Love” takes the stage at the Sedona Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 General Admission or $15 for Sedona Film Festival Members.
