    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is taking its show on the road with its new “Movies on the Move” mobile movie truck and outdoor film experience … now heading to The Wilde Resort and Spa in West Sedona!

    Join us on Wednesday, July 24, at The Wilde Resort and Spa for the kickoff installment in a series “Wilde Wednesdays” — an outdoor under the stars movie experience.

    “Chicago Live 2024” — a concert film — will be screened in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa.

    This concert movie — which premiered at the recent Sedona Film Festival — is a collaboration of filmmaker Peter Curtis Pardini and Chicago, the band. Beginning with “Introduction” — the first song from their film album — “Chicago Live 2024” takes you on a journey through the rock band with horns’ nearly six-decade musical catalogue. Featuring two hours of their greatest hits, including “Saturday in the Park”, “You’re the Inspiration”, “Call on Me”, “25 or 6 to 4” and many, many more). This concert film is a rock lover’s dream!

    Chicago is an American rock band formed in 1967 in Chicago. They have recorded 38 albums, sold over 100,000,000 records and are one of the longest-running and best-selling music groups of all time.

    Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from Chef Mercer Mohr and his modern diner restaurant, Rascal. If your sweet tooth catches you, enjoy S’mores around one of the four firepits. The festival’s mobile concession stand will have movie treats available.

    “Chicago Live 2024” will be shown outdoors at The Wilde Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona) on Wednesday, July 24 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs. Parking is free and available at The Wilde Resort and Spa.

    Tickets are only $7 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge.
