Sedona, AZ — It’s somewhat baffling how people can look at the same thing and see something totally different than what the other person sees.

Such is the case with me and a good friend. Both of us are independent voters, however, she leans a bit more to the right, while I do to the left. The recent killings of protesters in Minneapolis are a case in point, where the killing is seen by my friend as justified, while I feel the opposite.

She says it was clear to her that Renee Good was using her car as a weapon to kill the agent and that he was simply defending himself.

What I saw was Good trying to turn away from him, moving to the right, and being shot.

The same goes for the Alex Pretti killing.

She saw him brandishing a gun and trying to kill the agents, while I saw him holding a phone and being killed while struggling to get away. We must have watched different angles and versions of the shooting a dozen times, yet neither of us conceded to the other that they were right or wrong.

We still see two different things when watching the killings on our screens.

I guess it’s a matter of perspective and where we stand. A house could be painted white on one side and blue on the other. The people standing in front of the white side will say the house is painted white, while the people standing in front of the blue side will say it’s painted blue — both right, and both wrong.

So what we perceive can be affected by where we stand, and in the case of these killings, where we stand politically. Those on the left see the killings as wrong, while those on the right see them as right.

Then there are those who tell us what to think and believe, and they know the house is painted differently on both sides.

But my friend and I do agree on a few points. Pretti should never have brought a gun into a situation where he could physically be confronted by agents who would go into panic mode realizing he was armed and might take lethal action — which they did. We can argue whether it was wrong or justified, but it would not have happened if he had left the gun at home.

And for Good, she thought it was a joke, but when she moved forward — even though she apparently was trying to get away — the agent who shot her perceived a different reality and blew her face off.

For the record, my good friend and I remain good friends and would never let a misperception get in our way.

All depends upon whether or not you believe legitimate legacy media or Trump News Parody Propaganda and therein lies the only difference. You both saw what happened but heard different narratives of what took place and that was by design. Trump knows his cult is compromised of the mentally feeble, conspiracy theorist nut jobs and fascist who hate their fellow Americans because of their color or country of origin while ignoring their own families migration stories. They got theirs so damned everyone else! Think your friend either needs new glasses or a new heart?

Well apparently ICE goons broke Pretty’s rib pouncing upon him a week earlier. So perhaps he thought they were out of control and he needed to be able to defend himself or other while peacefully protesting. It was his 2nd amendment right to do so and he was killed for it. No blue/White House just dark evil thugs killing Americans for opposing their evil darkness! If this murder sees it’s day in court your friend will see Pretty’s gun was in a in the waist holster the entire time up until an ICE goon reaches into his holster to take it and then seconds later they blast pretty with a barrage of unmerited unlawful gun fire upon an un armed person laying flat on his back. Your friend needs glasses! There’s no optical illusion or fog of battle it was murder! Which is why it will all be swept under the rug as the guilty are shifted around the country to hide them from justice just as is happening right now!
If it was a legit just shooting then there’d be no issue in following longstanding protocol and allowing a joint local/state/federal investigation into it and that has all been destroyed by removing the weapon and preventing local and state authorities access to body cam footage and other evidence.

Perhaps protesters should follow the MAGA playbook and show up in battle dress with assault weapons and banana clips? Think ICE would get away with murdering people then? Highly doubtful. But then again, normal Americans don’t feeel the need to go militia upon federal government officers.

Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed in Minneapolis, not Cincinnati.
Maybe Tommy and his friend disagree because the friend knows Good and Pretti weren’t killed in Cincinnati and she thinks Tommy is an idiot for saying so.

Tommy’s name is prominently featured in full on the Sedona Biz homepage. Tommy made a single grammatical error and somehow that makes him an idiot? Any idiot would know even the best journalists make grammatical errors from time to time. Point was the murders of innocent Americans by a rogue out of control Federal Agency who has killed people all over the country. But you just like being a sticking the mud who stirs up unnecessary hatred and ignorance. Tommy Acosta and I rarely agree on things but he is gracious enough to allow anyone and everyone to post whatever viewpoint they may have within limits such as No Physical or even verbal threats, no racial slurs etc. No other so called local source allows for such discourse. Nextdoor is heavily pro MAGA pro Trump and is monitored by biased MAGA site managers who allow Trump supporters to spew whatever hate and nonsense they desire while blocking and banning those who respond fairly to their ignorance. Have a good day hater!

    Whack – A – Mole War

It looks like the tried-and-true method of armed conflict where armies face each other and kill until somebody wins or gives up, now all it takes is assassinating the leadership Israeli style. We enter a new phase of war where the leaders are killed first rather than last as in conventional warfare.
