Sedona, AZ — Do the math. In 2024 the Department of Homeland Security and ICE deported an average of 350,000 illegal immigrants a year.
Reportedly, there are 16 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. right now.
It would take 45 years to deport them all, providing no more enter our country during that time
Further, there are currently 3.6 million cases pending in immigration court, according to the Migration Policy iInstitute.
And it takes months, maybe years for an initial hearing.
It has just been reported that it costs an average of $17,000 dollars to deport one illegal immigrant.
Multiply that by the 16 million illegals in the U.S. and that would be $272 trillion dollars spent over the course of 45 years.
Making deportation even more challenging is there are only 50,000 beds at the most for arrested detainees waiting for a hearing.
These detainees have to be fed and supervised by law enforcement personnel or kept in private jails.
It’s no wonder Trump wants to open Alcatraz for that purpose.
The administration had pinned their hopes on the Alien Enemies Act to be able to “fast track” the deportation of criminal or non-criminal elements. They took their excuse for adopting the act, way too far.
It was only a matter of time before the courts scratched their heads and looked at it seriously and ruled that there was no credible invasion by a foreign country as charged by the administration; and the Alien Enemies Act could not be applied.
Again, there was no invading army, no declaration of war against a bunch rag tag gang bangers. No Taliban pick ups with machine guns bolted to the cargo area, no armed resistance, no running gun battles between the authorities and the gangs.
If anything, the criminals are hiding, quivering and trembling, on their best behavior, tattoos covered up, looking as innocent as can be.
Saying they had taken over entire cities, raping and pillaging as claimed by the administration could only be believed by FOX News aficionados but not believed by sober minded judges.
So what is the government to do? The best is simply keep going after everyone and anyone in the country illegally, open up more jails, subsidize private jails, and expedite hearings.
Yet, no matter what it tries to do, even if they could raise the amount of deportations to five-hundred thousand a year, it would be a forever endeavor and making the goal of ridding the U.S. from illegals, a moot point
Undocumented immigrants will most likely take their chances, knowing ICE and HLS can only go so far.
16 million of them and how many are having babies?
Too much. But we can expect the administration to continue reminding the U.S. population that they are in a major battle against the lowlifes and “dirt bags” that are“invading”America.
With the midterm elections dangling above their heads like the proverbial Sword of Damocles, they best keep the fear going and the claimed successes of saving the country.
But as far as ridding the U.S. of our entire illegal immigrant population? Never happen. Not in our lifetime.

Make Italy great again: Mussolini’s rise and fall shows how democracy dies by a thousand cuts
The Italian dictator is seen as a ‘lesser evil’, but his ascendance preceded Hitler and the excesses of his regime served as inspiration for the Nazis.
