Even though David is best known for his dynamic paintings of the Grand Canyon and Sedona, he takes frequent painting expeditions to other locations including the mountains of Arizona and Colorado.  While majestic, expansive scenes are often the subjects of his larger paintings, plein air and smaller studio paintings frequently feature creek scenes and fall color mountain landscapes.
