What befuddles me is that so many people cannot see the coming darkness about to shroud our country.
Inch by inch our civil liberties are being obliterated by a force that cannot be resisted or diverted.
America is being turned into a police state, with surveillance a way of life and an acceptance of the creation of a faux army that answers to no one but themselves. They now walk through our communities, masked, fully armed in riot gear, stopping anyone they wish, communicating their dominance over us and the fact that they could do what they wish with the full authority of the law behind them.
They are being offered $50 grand a pop to become one of these elite overseers with unbelievable benefits and salaries up to $110 grand with prior experience. They are not soldiers. They are not police. They are agents with special powers and privileges, and the sway they have over us common citizens will only expand to the point where no American citizen has anything to say about it and can be detained at will.
The occupying force in our country, now being expanded at breakneck speed, will soon have the ability to shut down and arrest anyone in the media—including social media—that dares to criticize the current administration.
The giant detention centers being built across the country are not just for the unfortunate illegal immigrants, but for any one of us that dares in the future to complain about what is happening.
It’s down on the ground if you are brown, and this is only the beginning.
How easily we have been convinced that our country is under siege by criminals and even communists. Trembling, we sit in front of our devices, being fed the lies that will lead us like sheep to the shearing factories and the butchering. Weep, America, because in the not-too-distant future our freedoms will be as extinct as the dinosaurs.
And yet, there are signs already here that the machine is grinding faster. Cameras on every corner, drones overhead, algorithms reading our every word, and files quietly being built on ordinary citizens who have done nothing but speak their mind. The walls are closing in, and when we finally realize it, it will be too late.
What will it take for people to awaken? Do they not see the road ahead? Families torn apart, neighbors whispering against neighbors, livelihoods destroyed because someone dared to question authority. It begins in shadows, in silence, and ends in chains. History has shown us this pattern over and over, but we seem determined to repeat it.
The question is not if—it is when. When will we finally admit that freedom is being strangled before our eyes? When will we remember that liberty is not granted by governments but defended by people willing to stand, to speak, to resist?
The time is short, the warnings clear, and still so many choose not to look.

Right on Joseph! ICE and DHS have become nothing more and nothing less than King Trumps personal Gestapo. One only need look no further than the Abrego Garcia case. His lawyers proved he was wrongfully deported just for being brown and now they are so infuriated that actual law took precedence in his case that they are threatening and terrorizing he and his family with his imminent illegal deportation to Uganda solely out of punishment for his wrongful and illegal first deportation to El Salvador’s gulag becoming a public outcry that brought attention to what is really going on with the Administration’s unconstitutional and illegal detention and deportation of people based solely upon skepticism upon color.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was first “wrongly deported” on March 15, 2025, to El Salvador by the Trump administration, an event officials called an “administrative error”. The deportation violated a prior 2019 court order that barred his removal to El Salvador due to a well-founded fear of persecution. He was brought back to the U.S. in June 2025 to face criminal charges.
He went before 2 judges, ore 2019, BOTH issued deportation orders. Years ago. OH, media forgot to report that? Big surprise. The deportation orders were temporarily suspended due to rival gangs, by the way, HIS gang is alive and well, the rival gang that would have caused him harm was eliminated by the clean up from the Salvadorian government several years ago.
Our “administrative error” was the oversight of that temporary stay. BUT the threat to Garcia no longer exists.
