Clarkdale AZ (November 12, 2013) – On November 5, 2013 the Town of Clarkdale held a Water Fair. The event was well attended, with approximately 50 residents and community members participating. The Fair featured six information tables manned by water experts sharing information with interested visitors. Topics presented included a demonstration water model staffed by Dr. Laurel Lacher, the Town’s hydrogeologist consultant, water rates, xeriscaping, water policy, water infrastructure, the water energy nexus, and a water fact sheet.
Feedback received from our residents will help guide the development of Clarkdale’s Water Resource Management Plan which is due to be presented to Council at the end of next year.
