    City Softball League Registration Begins May 1

    City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (April 22, 2014) – The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation is accepting registration for their Adult Summer Softball League beginning May 1.  Men and women are welcome to participate.  You may sign up your team until Wednesday, May 21.  There is a maximum of 20 players per team and players must be 16 years of age or older.  The fee is $275 per team. 

    Games will be held on Thursday evenings beginning June 5 and will run for 10 weeks.  All games will be at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road.  If 7 or more teams register, the league times will be 6:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.  Captains may register their teams at the Parks and Recreation office at Sedona City Hall, 102 Roadrunner Drive.  If you would like to see the league rulebook, please reference our calendar on the City website at www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks.

    There will be a coaches meeting on Tuesday, May 27 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss league rules.  Parks and Recreation encourages those interested to sign up as soon as possible and not wait until the last minute.  For more information, please call Parks and Recreation at 282-7098.
