SEDONA, Ariz. — As the city of Sedona explores potential changes to residential, customer and employee parking in Uptown, it asks surrounding business owners and residents to attend an open house on Dec. 11, 2025 at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble meeting room to learn more about parking scenarios and provide community feedback that will be used to assess the feasibility of future solutions.

More specifically, Uptown parking topics to learn about and provide feedback on include a parking assessment of current parking availability, expansion of paid parking and a potential residential parking program. These items are under consideration only; no decisions have been made.

The business-focused open house will be held for any employees and business owners who rely on available Uptown parking to either get to and from work and/or assist with business viability from 8 – 11 a.m. For Uptown residents, the open house will be held from 3 – 6 p.m.

“Uptown has very specific challenges when it comes to parking and we want to take the time and make sure we hear from residents, employees and business owners to understand their needs because community input is crucial in shaping next steps in our parking strategy,” said Transit Administrator Amber Wagner.

Following the open houses and additional outreach, a refined Uptown parking strategy will be presented to the City Council, with a meeting expected in early Spring. A summary of public feedback will also be available for the community.

The Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble is located at 400 N. State Route 89A with the meeting room located next to the main hotel. For questions, contact Wagner at awagner@sedonaaz.gov.
