SEDONA, Ariz. – The city of Sedona invites residents, service providers and community partners to provide input at a community engagement event on concepts of the draft Sedona Strategic Plan to Address Homelessness on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, located at 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Rd.
The event will present concepts of the draft Sedona Strategic Plan to Address Homelessness and gather community feedback. The program includes a short presentation on the planning process and key elements of the draft plan, along with a presentation on lived experiences of homelessness in the region. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions in real time through an interactive discussion format.
“Community voices are essential to shaping solutions that work for Sedona and the Verde Valley. This event is designed to be interactive so those voices can be heard in real time to help refine the draft plan,” said Jeanne Blum, city of Sedona housing manager.
Feedback collected will be summarized for the City Council Work Session starting at 3 p.m. on the same day, Oct. 15th, in the Council Chambers, located at 102 Roadrunner Dr., where the draft plan concepts will be reviewed and discussed. No formal action will be taken at that work session but direction will be given by Council.
This event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9:15 a.m.

We definitely don’t need this in Sedona.
Don’t need a plan? Says who? There’s zero affordable housing available to our homeless EMPLOYEES and you say we don’t need a plan? You won’t be saying that when your favorite restaurant, shop or country club shutters due to lack of employees to run them. You might not need security and a place to live but there are many who work here who do. But you don’t care about them so long as they serve your needs then disappear until you need to be served again right?
