    City of Sedona Financial Services Utilizes Phone Routing System

     Automation Gives 24/7 Availability

    05022011SedonaLogoSedona, AZ (August 2, 2011) – The City of Sedona Financial Services Department will begin utilizing a more efficient routing system for phone calls on Monday, August 1. The phone system will allow customers to make wastewater payments at any time of day. A live operator will be available to accept payments from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After business hours, an automated system will be available for customers to make payments. The payment service the City will offer is at no cost to citizens.

    With the new dedicated phone lines, the Finance Department is also going to have a dedicated line for taxpayers to call for assistance. Phone calls will be sent directly to Revenue Discovery Systems (RDS), where taxpayers can receive support regarding city sales tax remittance questions at no cost. A live operator will be available to answer tax questions from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    Customers may also speak directly with a Financial Services Department representative to answer questions related to sewer, taxes, or general finance questions. The phone number is (928)204-7185.
